Veltrix SMP Rules
Our guidelines promote a fun, content-friendly, and fair environment. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse to break them.
General Rules
Spawn Infrastructure
Players must build some sort of builds on spawn to ensure the SMP looks good, active, and appealing, which directly benefits everyone's content creation.
Secret Stashes & Raids
Secret stashes and base raids are allowed. HOWEVER, players must have a full session recording showing how they found the stash/base and the raid itself. Replay Mod and Flashback footages are valid proof.
Vanilla Exploits
The server is built on Spigot 26.2. Exploit techniques and bugs that exist in vanilla Minecraft will work and you are fully allowed to use them.
No Cheats or Unfair Mods
Usage of cheat clients, X-Ray resource packs, or any mods offering an unfair advantage (including minimap radar showing hidden entities) is strictly prohibited and won't be tolerated.
Compulsory Knowledge
It is compulsory for everyone to know what all the rules are. Not knowing the rules is never an excuse to break them.
PVP & Combat Rules
Explosives Restriction
End Crystals, Respawn Anchors, Beds, and TNT Minecarts are strictly prohibited for manual use in PVP combat encounters.
Traps & Manual Ignition
You can construct traps containing crystals, anchors, beds, or TNT minecarts. HOWEVER, a player cannot manually trigger or detonate these explosions. Traps must trigger automatically.
Combat Recording
Players must record gameplay footage before and during any kill. Failure to provide clear video proof will result in severe consequences.
No Combat Logging
Trying to escape any combat scenario (disconnecting, or leaving as an enemy approaches with intent to kill) is strictly forbidden and punishable.
Logging Prevention
Combat logging out of traps or natural causes is forbidden. An active server plugin will instantly kill players who disconnect during a fall of 4+ blocks or under threat.
No Team Alliances
Teams cannot ally with each other. Individual players can agree to mutual truces, but teams strictly cannot combine forces or gang up on others. Violating teams will face severe penalties.
Creator & Content Rules
Recording & Uploading
It is not compulsory to post videos or stream. However, keeping full recordings of major events (stash finds, PvP encounters, and base raids) is mandatory.
Cooperative Collaboration
If your content requires other players' involvement, feel free to ask. Participation is highly appreciated and encouraged, though players maintain the choice to accept or deny.
Scripted Content
Creators are fully allowed to organize and record scripted content or planned storylines to build high-quality community narratives.
Spawn Beautification
Every team must construct impressive, high-quality projects at spawn when an official announcement is made to improve the visual appeal of videos.
Spawn Griefing Restriction
Griefing spawn builds is highly discouraged unless backed by a strong content/storyline reason. The griefing process must be fully recorded from start to finish.
Balance Conflict & Peace
Maintain a healthy balance between conflict and peace. Avoid aimless killing for "aura" or bragging rights. Keep events structured so viewers remain engaged in the SMP's story.
No Traps at Spawn
Building traps near spawn structures is strictly prohibited to keep spawn safe, accessible, and welcoming for filming.
Note on Creator Rules
These content guidelines are dynamic and open to modification upon request. Our decisions aim to enhance overall content value. While guidelines may seem "unfair" at times, our highest priority is maintaining a healthy, entertaining environment for all viewers and creators.
